I swear to fulfil, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:
I shall exercise great compassion and empathy when seeing patients;
I shall pledge my willingness to treat all patients without discrimination, regardless of whether they are wealthy or poor, young or old, loveable or hateful, fool or intelligent;
I shall not discuss other people’s affairs, flaunt my reputation, slander other physicians, or brag about my accomplishments;
I promise to develop compassion for extending my knowledge and pursuing excellence in the medical field to improve human health.
